PANEGYRIC: "I MET WISDOM" BY AJAKAYE STRIDA

Beneath the four walls of a hall at Ikeja, NIJ

I met a man with a unique and sharp voice,

his thoughts are blunt and true as the faithful sky,

and I wrote in verbatim like a wild scholar,

employing the academic themes LASU fed me.

His legs sturdy as the fitness of an elephant,

in my life,

an educationist has never watered my zeal as thou did,

his words were undeniably grasping my brain

like the passion between metal and magnet.

Well...poetry alone is not enough,

to parade the valid values of Mr. Jide Johnson.

Let me steal you his words,

"You pay a tuition to an institution to develop your intuition".
