The affection we repudiate,

Someone will proffer with unwavering devotion.

The malignant hatred we cultivate,

Like stalwart pillars, they will persist.

The trust we relinquish,

They will venerate with unwavering honor.

The lives some sanction with impunity,

Adequacy becomes an entrenched norm.

In life's ephemeral, yet definitive terminus,

Dust reverts to its primordial state.

Life's transience mocks our existential plight,

To live amidst toxic drama's sucking vortex.

Nature's inexorable laws govern,

The universe decrees with unyielding voice.

The cardinal rule we flagrantly defy,

The love we obstinately choose to abhor.

The poet persona laments that it has become natural for negativity to always come in no matter how humans are aware of the positive steps. The voice unveils love being lost, hypocrisy amongst people, unaccountability of persons and other sundries.
