WHAT IS CHRISTIANITY?

I've now realized that not many people actually understand what it means to be a Christian. They think it's just about receiving Jesus into your life and then continue with the old ways. No No! Many people say " Jesus is in my heart, so it doesn't matter how I dress, as long as I pray. Jesus does not care about my outward appearance" oh my dear, Jesus cares. He does care about your outward appearance. 

The bible is very particular about that. ‭1 Timothy 2:9 NLT‬ [9] And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. 

As a child of God, there are certain way you ought to appear now. And yes, your dressing matters. You can't claim you're a child of God and your appearance and looks is like that of the devil. It is not acceptable.  Modesty is our dress code in Christianity!
