NOSTALGIA: "GHANA MUST GO"
Ghana must go
We need to tell them so
Even though they say no
We have to let them know
It is time to return home.
They have their homes to build
They wall of their strength must be rebuild
No matter how long a stone remain in the river, it doesn't become a fish.
Ghana must go
Out of slavery again after years ago
Awaken and return to your father
We may share the same mother, but children belong to the father.
Don't wait until the pot is empty
Our mother is old and wearied
Should a king runaway from his throne?
Arise and break the day before the day break on you.
Ghana must go
Let Lot depart from Abraham
For two Lions can't hunt in the same jungle
Enough of living life like a candle in the wind
Move ahead for heroes shade no tears
The future awaits your arrival patiently.

The poet persona remembers the issue of Ghanians not only living, but also working in Nigeria. After all, they still go back to Ghana because Nigeria might belong to the African continent as the former but Nigeria is not their native home.
