JEREMIAD: "TRUST NO ONE" BY MATYR
I once valued friendships,
I treated and valued friends,
I believed friends were real,
And will always be there to stay.
I once counted on love,
Momma taught me how to love,
Thought all moms did the same to their children,
So I always gave my whole heart.
I was a fool, I was wrong, thought wrong,
Some people were never raised in love,
People don't care about your sacrifices,
They hurt you and act like you hurt them.
They created a monster in me,
They paid me back with sour fruits,
Taught me not to trust anyone,
That's why I am like this....
I miss me, the person I used to be,
Before I got betrayed by 'friends,'
Before I got played and cheated on,
This is not me, I'm a stranger to myself.
