Here comes the leader

In apparels of buoyancy

Sweet with words

Very good in campaign

All the future ; he prognosticate'

Many victims at his feet of words;

Words that seem to be hope

But, in all, a green serpent he is'

Till date, he lives to bed a casket.

The poet personae uses his lines to leak the intentions of a leader who pretends to love the people, but he only feeds the masses with sweet promises.
