SUMBIT TO STRIDA

STRIDA is open to creative submissions ONLY during our reading period. We are open to various styles of creative works (prose, poems, drama, and other sundries can be submitted).

The theme “THAT PEACE MIGHT EXIST” has been chosen in order to address the issue of tribalism, insurgency and insecurity in the country, Nigeria. We know that there’s hope for Peace in the country Nigeria, and we want creative writers within and outside Nigeria  to write in lieu to this.

We are absolutely passionate about publishing emerging writers; not only Nigerian writers, but also other creative thinkers across the globe. 

We encourage submitters to send in their best work which should no doubt correlate with the theme of the Anthology. i.e. "THAT PEACE MIGHT EXIST"

Our response time is a month; after which you can send an inquiry mail.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1. Send in not more than 3 previously unpublished poems to stridaclub9@gmail.com in a Word Document—font 12, single line spacing. (While simultaneous submissions are allowed, remember to notify us if your poem gets accepted elsewhere).

2. Send in a third-person bio not more than 70 words.

3. Send in a photograph of yourself 

4. All social media handles should be listed therein.

5. Not all submissions would be published, Creative Writers whose literary works have satisfied the vision of the involved theme, shall be contacted via mail.
