ODE: 'MR. LAGOS OF LASU' BY AJAKAYE STRIDA

If I am asked a thousand times,

I would repeat in millions,

that LASU and Music haven't found any other as him.

He is a Music whose lyrics God asserts,

such an all-round music composer 

with the gatherings of melody and logic.

Under the weather of his impact

rejoices the sparkles of Passion, Peace, Productivity...

If Teachers would be addressed as Confidants,

he would undeniably be the first amongst all.

His simplicity and humility is prestigiously unique,

like embroidery placed on ankara,

he jokes out worries of mankind voluntarily,

and sows Revelations rather than  Lamentations. 

He is a Shepherd never like any,

the colour of his face is paramountly accommodating 

as though Lagos in Nigeria.

I tell not just Literature, but a confession 

of Mr. OLÚDÁISÍ DAVID ÀÌNÀ

of Theatre and Music, Lagos State University, Ojo.

A man whose 'Power of love'

supercedes his 'Love for power.'

You have sowed humility, happiness and focus,

then prosperity, wealth and peace shall be harvested,

by God's Grace.
