DUET ON ROMANTICISM: 'ANOTHER NIGHT OF WIFERY' BY AJEWUMI AND TZEBLON.

PROMINENT POET:
Mide! Mide!! Mide!!!
How many times did I call you?
You are a kingdom of jealousy,
a snatcher,
you intentionally snatched my queen.
Deborah do warn your man well,
my red eyes might be freed by him.
My Olamidayo, Ifetemi,
my second part is QUEEN AJAKAYE RASHIDAT,
why did you want to leave me a lonely life?

TZEBLON:
Ajewunmi !!
Our one and only sculptor,
may the gods strike open the bottom of your incompetence...

Would the hands that have failed to make wonders on wood
have their way on a woman's skin ?

Ajewunmi !
You are just a struggling poet.

PROMINENT POET:
What did I do to deserves this,
Ifetemi, don't follow callous man,
who suddenly want to put fire to our sweet love,
my sweetheart..
don't put a sword on my tongue,
don't let this existing sweet journey end like this,
let me follow you home baby,
let me take you to my papa and mamma,
baby continue dancing to the sweet sound of my drum,
and I won't tired of beating that drum,
beating all seconds till level of your satisfaction.

TZEBLON:
See our village sculptor claiming what he is not ?
Your eyes are always glued to the sways of a maiden's wrappers
– at the _Makanjuola_ river, at _oja oba_,
is it not you that made vain advances at the priestess three markets ago...

Stealing her naked luxury
through the innocent opening of her bathroom door ?

PROMINENT POET:
Mide !
You are just a fake lover,
who want to chop and go,
your heart isn't not pure as mine.
even if I owe debt because of my Olamidayo,
she worths it!
The one who loves me wholeheartedly,
the mother of my unborn child,
the dog that enters a tiger's abode
will surely bath in an ocean of blood.
Olamidayomi,
won't you clear this negative fuss to him?
Clear it to him that I am your first love,
Ewatomi is the name I have given you,
your beauty is incomparable among others,
a black shining gold skin,
baby don't leave me,
I love you!

TZEBLON:
Ask Ajakaye if she won't show you the wonders I made of her pride...
the simple yelp of dignity,
that dignity she made on our first nuptial battle.

See, if your encephalon does not know the way to your abode,
your leg shouldn't be a barrier too ?

AJEWUMI PEN
(PROMINENT POET)
and
ORIPINYE OLUMIDE
(TZEBLON).
