Mama Dayo doesn't fry plantain anymore,

maybe because two sticks costs 400 Naira only,

and two slices are 100 to customers

we can't afford this pay anymore.

Leave them... 

they would kidnap all your farmers very soon,

since your projects oppress the 'have nots'.

Egg has become gold just like its colour,

whereas...years ago featured egg eaten by men

who couldn't purchase goat or cow meat,

now what kind or protein

do we cook for our stomach.

Egg has become gold just as its colour 

and plantain has become cocaine.
