Romancism ' A WAY AND LATTER PROMISES'
I couldn't promise,
my lips always cherry red.
my pale cheeks always blushed tainted rose,
my eyes always sparkling as star dust.
Sorry...
I couldn't promise,
my body will always be perfect like an hourglass,
my skin will always glaze when the sun beams,
my hair will always be smooth as it gleams.
But I promise,
my gaze will only be transferred to yours
with unrelenting endearments and adornments,
my hands always squeezing you gently,
reassuring certainty of your desires .
My heart...;
Will only speak for you,
will only murmurs it's beats for you,
will only bleed and get stitched for you,
will only chatter our imperfect love in perfection
and always will it be for you.
Nwobodo Innocent Uchenna.

This poetic piece expresses the emotions of a man who speaks to his lady, eulogizing her with works of nature and giving her assurance that he will do his best even though he gives her no promises.
